all about casinos

Written By:

Think of the word casinos. All you have to do is type in *casino* and hit the enter button... on the major search engines. Your brain goes into overdrive. 67 Million casinos saying : play me, come here, we are better!

I closed the page. I am sure most people do. This webpage is all about casino's. After I closed the searchpage, I opened it again, and adding some decent keywords, it allowed me to make a selection of casinos that are honest, been around a while, publish winnings and earnings. Casinos with minimum downtime if at all. Casinos that allow you to play in the currency of your choice. Modern, virtual casinos.

Casinos have been around a long time. A bit of history about casinos ;)

In 1626 in Venice (Italy, Europe) a public gambling house was legalized for the first time. Soon the high Venetian society met in so called little houses or "casini" to indulge in everything from business dealings, politics, gambling and more carnival pleasures. "Casino" became synonymous with vice and perdition.

Find a goldrush, find a gaming hall. Diamonds are discovered, and along with the can-can girls and the bars, the miners need to relax, think of something else than working so hard, day after day. - continued below ...

Casino style gaming clubs existed in England, Italy, and Central Europe in the 17th and 18th centuries. Organized gaming casinos started to develop during the first half of the 19th century. The most popular games of chance in the 17th and 18th centuries were Hazard, Faro, Macao, Trente et quarante and Trente et un. Roulette did not start to be played until the second half of the 18th century. Card and dice games - like Baccarat, Craps, Hazard and Chuck-a-Luck - have been played at casinos since their early days.

Games of chance involving "dice" have been around since the dawn of civilization. The earliest dice were probably shaped from animal bone or carved from hardwoods like ebony and oak. We know that Roman soldiers tossed pig knuckles onto their shields more than two thousand years ago in a game some called "bones"

Online casinos try to capture the magic of thiose days with visual images. You can imagine that you are in a jungle, or in a poker room, where you even choose the *image* you want to project.

We will be publishing competitions, freebies, discount and all sorts of wonderful things here.
